The lack of reliable broadband in London's Tech City development has once again come in for criticism.
Some of the UK's leading technology companies are based in the area, but there have been widespread reports concerning the lack of connectivity available to them.
Writing for the Guardian last week, former Tech City worker Pasa Mustafa explained the problem.
"Accessing good broadband was a constant complaint, and, for some time, there was no access to fibre services at all," he stated.
Mr Mustafa called for Ofcom to look into the "complete ecosystem" for broadband provision and said fast internet access should be installed alongside other basic utilities such as water and electricity and not as an "afterthought".
He concluded by claiming that if the government wants to ensure the UK is the most attractive country in the world to establish a technology company, it needs to be best when it comes to broadband speeds and access.
