The number of times people have streamed programmes online using BBC iPlayer has increased.
Statistics from the broadcaster show August saw a 19 per cent increase in viewing requests, with a total of 234 million occurring throughout the month.
This works out at roughly seven million programme views a day and 49 million per week.
Requests made on mobile phones and tablets accounted for 32 per cent of the total, equalling the record that was set in June this year.
Some of the most popular programmes included comedy Bad Education, which premiered on the on-demand service, while Top Gear, Dragon's Den and the Great British Bake Off were also top performers.
The BBC said the vast majority of iPlayer users are under the age of 55, while there is an even split between male and female viewers.
