People in Country Antrim have been urged to fill in a survey about the quality of their broadband service.
The Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment is looking to identify areas of the Northern Irish region that receive a connection of less than 15 Mbps and a local councillor has called for local residents to respond.
Philip McGuigan of Sinn Fein told the Ballymena Times a number of households in County Antrim suffer from poor quality broadband and this needs to be rectified.
"It is important not only that this information is collated but more importantly that something is done to ensure that fast speed broadband is accessible," he commented.
The consultation can be completed on the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment website and Mr McGuigan has encouraged people to do so before the closing date of Friday August 16th.
