The government's rollout of super-fast broadband in the UK is "too little, too late", according to an online expert.
Internet psychologist Graham Jones, who lives in rural Berkshire, told getreading the UK's economic recovery needs faster broadband connections and the government's plan to provide super-fast coverage to 90 per cent of the country by 2015 will not be enough.
Mr Jones said his broadband connection is not fast enough for his family to engage in several online activities, such as streaming videos, downloading business files and playing games, at the same time.
He requires a super-fast service, but claimed he is unlikely to receive an upgrade in the near future due to his location.
Mr Jones pointed to a recent report on the Superfast Berkshire project, which showed that nearly 50,000 homes and businesses in the county will not receive an upgraded internet service by 2015, as evidence of this.
