An MP has met with BT to discuss concerns about the company's broadband service in Wrexham.
Ian Lucas, the MP for Wrexham, held talks with BT alongside other MPs from north Wales last week.
A new high-speed, fibre optic connection had originally been scheduled for completion in June last year, but the work is now not expected to be completed until March.
Mr Lucas said: "Constituents have raised delays with the broadband rollout in the Wrexham area with me and I share their concern."
He added that he has discussed the issue with BT, which said it was aware of concerns and "anticipated that services would be available shortly”.
BT was recently awarded the contract to bring super-fast broadband to Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire.
The £35.6 million deal is scheduled for completion in spring next year. It aims to connect 94 per cent of homes and businesses in the area.
