The Kings Reach estate in Lynn has a number of poor ADSL connections that leave its broadband capabilities far behind that of various other local communities, a resident has claimed.
Leslie Barry told the Lynn News that the estate may be the only one of its kind in the town without superfast broadband and has launched a petition to improve the situation.
He has already gathered signatures from around 380 people in the area.
A BT spokesman told the newspaper that it is not always commercially viable to provide 100 per cent coverage across a town.
"It has always been made clear that not all areas served on an enabled BT exchange would be able to receive fibre broadband," they declared.
This follows the telecoms firm being criticised in Ulveston because of the slow pace of its broadband rollout, with the North-West Evening Mail revealing that local people were concerned by the lack of a concrete completion date.
